After three months of waiting the NBA season starts tonight with the Western Conference favorite Denver Nuggets taking on the dreadful Utah Jazz. The Nuggets have almost exactly the same roster that took them to the Western Conference Finals a year ago. Parker native Chauncy Billups and Carmello Anthony are leading a cast of experienced players, as well as rookies just out of college. One of the Nuggets new additions this year is highly touted rookie Ty Lawson out of national champion North Carolina. Which dominated Duke twice last year on the way to being the best team in the nation. I am calling the Nuggets to crush Kobe Bryant and become the Western Conference champions.
