Boys Like Girls

By Eliza Samuelson

Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to experience a concert featuring many bands, A Rocket to the Moon, VersAmerge, The Maine, Cobra Starship and Boys like Girls. The concert was so much fun except for the fact that some guy put me on his shoulders, and a girl threw up on my shoe, lovely I know. The show had already started when I got there and VersAmerge was playing one of their songs.. After VersAmerge went off, A rocket to the Moon came on, and played their hit song “Annabelle” the volume was so loud that you could feel the vibrations running through your body like an electric shock, and if you were holding a cup you couldn’t help your hand from shaking. A Rocket to the Moon played 5-7 songs and they were all great. After A Rocket to the Moon was over I went to the lobby and met the lead singer of VersAmerge it was a very cool experience. Next to take the stage was The Maine. They were so awesome it was so much fun to listen to them. They played “Pour Some Sugar on me” and many other hit songs. The lights fell down and the crowd was silent, then Cobra Starship (one of my favorite bands) came out on stage and the silence disappeared in a second. They stared to play and we all were waiting for their hit song “Good Girls go Bad” but they played many songs before like “Hot mess” finally Gabe, the lead singer of Cobra Starship said “You know sometimes I meet a girl, and she’s such a good little thing, but once I get a hold of her she always goes bad” and the crowd went insane and they played “Good Girls go Bad” after they left the stage giving it over to the final band Boys Like Girls. My friend and I went into the lobby to meet Gabe from cobra starship it was so cool to meet him. He was super nice and a really cool guy! I could hear the guitar start to play and then a “yaoww” and Boys Like Girls came out on the stage singing their hit song “Love Drunk” my head was pounding from me dancing so much that I could barely think. I lost my voice after that concert, true proof of what an AMAZING concert it really was.
